The AA-12 is an automatic shotgun that appears in Spec Ops: The Line.
Campaign
In the singleplayer campaign, the AA-12 only appears in three chapters: Chapter 10, Chapter 14, and the Epilogue. It is first seen in the hands of a soldier in the water depot at the end of Chapter 10, then in the end of Chapter 14 it is used by a Heavy Trooper that the player must kill, and also in the hands of Zulu Squad gunners inside the building. It is used by Captain Walker in the epilogue if the player choose to attack the Falcon One squad who came to rescue you.
Multiplayer
It is unlocked at level 39.
Trivia
- The AA-12 has a 33rd insignia on the side of it, similar to the SCAR-H.
- The AA-12 uses green shells rather than the red shells used by other shotguns; they appear to be Frag-12 explosive rounds, judging by the weapon's massively increased range.
- It has very little stability, making it exceptionally difficult to stay on target when used fired full-auto.
