Covert is a perk available in Spec Ops: The Line multiplayer.
Ability[]
Level 1
- Enemy crosshairs don't turn red over you
Level 2
- Gain a random enemy name every time you respawn
Dangers[]
- If the enemy team is all in the same location, they may become aware that the "teammate" outside of their group is a fake. The name above the Covert operative's head will then become a beacon allowing the enemy team to track their exact movements.
Trivia[]
- It is unlocked at level 44
- Originally, the perk was known as "Stealthy" during development, and had a different icon.
- The effects of Covert can be directly countered by Situational Awareness.
- The icon of the player's class bonus will appear over the head of any nearby Covert agents. This may inadvertently give away the location of the agent.
